Aboriginal Vote

Country Boy makes some good points. But the surge in NDP support here in the last poll is interesting. This riding has leaned towards NDP on many occasions, and rarely Conservative federally. Last time, the candidate lost to Liberal by 500 votes. In the 80's there was an NDP elected. First Nations usually vote Liberal but familiarity with indivuald canadidated may also be important. There has never been a First Nations candidate before in the riding either. I do not find her however, to be a strong candidate. It will be interesting to see how it al plays out, and which sectors and communities support her.
I wonder if these polls accurately reflect the Aboriginal vote? ›
