Then what is the point of this site

It seems that all of these "strategic voters" have already made up their mind- so what is the point of this site if you are not going to follow it? What these "this site is wrong, I'm voting Liberal anyway" folks are doing is counterproductive- I can't help but feel that their reasoning is based on personality rather than policy- I know more than one family that has been swayed by the NDP's $400/month child benefit package. Personally, in terms of policy, what draws me to the NDP is their stance on digital rights and copyright reform and they are also highly critical of the SPP and TILMA (programs that I feel are disastrous for small to medium sized businesses, not to mention eliminating local and provincial governmental control in favour of the large business concerns- the Liberal stance on these issues is dubious at best). What all this adds up to is that these polls may be more accurate than some people might be comfortable with. All that said, I will be checking the polls and this site on election day and make my final decision then- which I think is the point...
